Hey Crazy Cadre!

Welcome to the new year. I hope it is off to a great start for y'all. We are already into April! Time does not stand still, and Crazy Cockatoo Games has not stood still, either.

Tabletop Publishers Update

As noted in our last newsletter, we have been hard at work on the new Tabletop Publishers website. Our launch went great and we have been steadily adding new features. And we have some exciting new feature scheduled for this summer! If you are a game designer, please check it out – it is immensely helpful for identifying game publishers that are a good fit for you, planning out your game pitches, and tracking the progress. And please spread the word.

𝓕𝒙RPG Update

We have also been focusing on steady playtestng and exposure of 𝓕𝒙RPG. The game is feeling really good. As I exercise the rules, I look for spots that have a little friction and I focus on fixing those friction points. And 𝓕𝒙RPG is feeling very smooth!

And that is not all! We are working closely with Compass Games on a version of the rules set in the Burning Banners universe! If you want to be involved in the early stages, please visit our CCG discord server and join the playtesters group.

Oh yes, we will be at the KublaCon Game Convention this coming May 22nd through May 25th. We will be running two 𝓕𝒙RPG sessions set in the Burning Banners universe. Please sign up! We'd love to see you there.

Other Progress

And, we have a product in the works that complements what we are doing with 𝓕𝒙RPG, but we are not quite ready to talk about it yet. We are still in the internal testing phase, but we just wanted to let you know, we are always moving forward.
